Sigma Psi Zeta is a Multicultural Asian-Interest Greek Organization.
It was founded on March 23rd, 1994 at University at Albany under the leadership of the founders:
Gina Han, Sally Hsieh, Jean Kim, Jenny Kim, Sandra Lam, Winnie Liu, Yan-Chieh Liu, Michelle Macaraig, Sung-Yon Noh and Loan Trang.​​

Our Mission
I. Sigma Psi Zeta is all about creating a safe environment for womxn of color.

II. We also hope to help womxn develop interpersonal skills.
​
III. To create a safe environment for womxn of color who have experienced any types of violence such as harassment, discrimination and assault.
​
IV. To help womxn develop interpersonal skills in service of education, cultural awareness, and national philanthropy.

Sigma Psi Zeta is a community full of talented and amazing womxn. The community of womxn from around the country come together to network. There isn't a typical "Sigma," as SYZterhood is not a typical relationship.
