The Alpha Psi Charter was established on November 18th, 2021 at Temple University under the leadership of our charter class.

Before its establishment, our charters believed that Temple needed to have a safe environment where all womxn can feel empowered and accepted. They came together and established an interest group called S.T.R.O.N.G. (Strength, Trust, Resilience, Optimism, Nurture, Growth).

They wanted to bring Sigma Psi Zeta to campus because: 

• Sigma Psi Zeta encourages womxn to become empowered leaders and speak out against injustices.

• Sigma Psi Zeta provides a supported environment where womxn can share their stories and feel accepted.

• Sigma Psi Zeta's philanthropy is to Combat the Violence Against Womxn.
